NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS AND HAULERS

Overweight vehicles are currently a common occurrence at the landfill, with some exceedences being minor while others are more significant. Ecowaste believes that all our customers and their truckers should comply with the legal requirements imposed by government transportation authorities. The purpose of these requirements is the protection of the public from injury and public roads from damage.

In order to encourage compliance, a charge for overweight loads crossing the scales at the Richmond Landfill will be implemented by Ecowaste. Ecowaste intends to use the proceeds of the overweight charges for the benefit of the local community and for charitable purposes. Charges will be included on the monthly invoice and are payable by the recipient. For cash transactions the charges will payable at the scale at the point of sale.

This procedure will be effective on and after April 13, 2009.

The following table provides the basis for the overweight charges:
